    2013 HydroDrag Schedule

    The 2013 GreenHulk.net US HydroDrag Nationals presented by RIVA Racing, HydroTurf, Jet Pilot, Exotic Signs, Vortech, Lacey Powersports.

    Lake County and the City of Tavares will feature three events…Tavares, West Palm Beach County, and Tampa in their first full season, see below for the schedule in its entirety. Each HydroDrag show will have Championships in every Sea Doo Speed Alley Class, all HydroDrag Classes, the Blowsion Flatwater Freestyle Competition, and the Official IJSBA/Waterfrontoo Slalom Championships.

    Points will be accumulated throughout the three US National Championships, with the final round in Tampa worth double points.

    All hotel and race information will be forthcoming.

    Also, the 2013 HydroDrag Rulebook will be out electronically on April 1st, courtesy of our new rules committee and Mike Hodges from RIVA.

    Next season we will be expanding the HydroDrag Brand into other US Cities and Countries at large including Australia and Grand Cayman.


    The RIVA Racing HydroDrag World Finals will be held on November 2-3, in Polk City, Florida for the 4th consecutive year and will be held at Lake Grew, located behind the USA Water Ski Hall of Fame.

    Mike Young, promoter of the HydroDrag events, will also be producing the GeorgiaState Championships, an IJSBA sanctioned Closed Course event with Flatwater Freestyle and a regulation Slalom track.

    This will take place over Labor Day weekend, just North of Atlanta, Georgia, as a part of the, Love the Lake Festival” for the 3rd year in a row. Next, there will be a brand new event; “The Morgan City Big Bucks State Shootout” will feature a $5K cash payout to the state team with the most points!

    Each state will be allowed 10 racers and up to 30 entries (We will score the top 30 best finishes), so get your team together and plan on being in Morgan City ,Louisiana, on your way to Lake Havasu, during the final weekend of September.

    The final event for 2013 for Mike and his crew will be held at the Magnuson Bayside Harbor in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 7th. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Adopt-A-Family, providing a Christmas for those who can’t afford it.     Early registration will begin on May 1st, and there will be discounted rates for those who register and advance and those who are on time will not receive any late fees. However, if you register the night before or day of the event, there will be a $20 inconvenience fee charged per class.
