2013 Pro Hydro-X Tour Wraps Up In Islamorada

The 2013 Pro Hydrocross season has come to an end, and what a great ending it was! We traveled to Florida’s paradise, the Postcard Inn in Islamorada, FL. and put a successful wrapped on our first year as the promoters of the Jettribe Pro Hydro-X Tour, presented by Sea-Doo in a big way. The beautiful clear blue-green water, laid back feel of The Keys, the picturesque backdrop and our host the Postcard Inn made it easy for us to have one of the best PWC races of the year!September 21-22 marked the ending of a new beginning, our first year managing a racing tour, and the start of new goals for 2014. This year we (Brad Clark, the Pro Hydrocross staff, all the racers, our sponsors, the people that helped and supported us and the fans) put our passion into putting PWC Racing back on the map. For 2014 we will work to make Florida the center of that map and the home of Watercraft racing!Brad and I started this year as a couple of newbies, with the passing of the torch into our hands by PWC racing legend Mikey Young. We want to thank everyone for all the support, because we definitely would not have finished without it, and thank our tour sponsors for going out on a limb our first year out of the box: Jettribe and Sea-Doo! We also want to say thank you to our supporting sponsors RIVA RacingFulmer HelmetsExotic SignsKaotik ProductsPWC Muscle and the official magazine Pro Rider Watercraft Magazine. We greatly appreciate you all!We put together a page for all of our Championship Points Winners from the weekend. Finally I will leave you all with this, one of the coolest most ironic things from the weekend… when Brad dove down in front of the hotel to spot where we were dropping our next set of blocks to anchor a big red buoy, our block landed right on top of a set of two other blocks that had once been used to anchor a buoy long ago. We are guessing it was from 1998 or prior! :)Thanks again to everyone involved this year from sponsors to spectators!See you in 2014 on the beach… racing!
