British Pro Women’s Multi-time World Champion Racer, Anya Colley, announces a break from 2013 competition season Recently, via social media, the 7-time World Women’s stand-up Champion, Anya Colley, famous for herhot laps and hot pink ski and wetsuit styles, made the following statement regarding her break from the jet ski racing world circuits:
“For 2013 I have decided to take some time out from competing in jet ski racing championships. I have competed in Great Brittan, all over Europe, Russia, Morocco, USA and Thailand continually for the last 8 years and I feel it’s time to take a break from racing full on. I have had some amazing times and won some amazing titles including 3 National Championships, 3 European Championships, Pro/AM Kings Cup Open Title, Morocco Night Race Title and 7 World Titles. I will of course continue to compete here and there and ride my ski for leisure.
I hope you understand my decision. Thank you to everyone for all of the awesome times I have had and the memories you have created for me. I will never forget them, that’s for sure.
With all my love and thanks Anya Colley, #52.”
Pro Rider Watercraft Magazine would like to thank Anya for her contributions to the watercraft industry and wish her the best of luck with her new endeavors. We hope this is just a temporary break for the Pink Lady however, and we hope to see her racing again soon. Her talent, smile and presents alone makes our sport special.
