    Get To Know Daniel Campanella

Tell us a little about who you are and how you got involved in Racing Watercraft?

I was born on September 15, 1996. I like to make goals for myself to accomplish on and off of the race course. I started riding at the age of 12 on a Kawasaki 650sx up at my cottage. When I turned 14, I convinced my dad to get an old square nose superjet. There was a local charity race for one of my friends that had gotten injured that my dad and I thought would be fun to ride in. After that race I couldn’t stop, it was just too fun. So my dad let me race his SXR the following year and it was a blast!

What do you consider your greatest Accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment would be getting great support, and being the 2012 Jr. National Champion.

What plans do you have for the 2013 season?

Currently, I am on the Canadian Watercross Association tour. I am also hoping to be attending the World Finals in October.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I should have my Electrical Engineering degree, and also racing every race I can make it to.

    Who are your biggest influences?

Jeff Jacobs, and Scott “hollywood” Watkins

Do you have any hobbies outside of motocross?

I like to snowboard, ride mountain bikes, and just hang out at the beach outside of racing.

Who supports you in racing, and who would you like to thank?

BURN Industries, Gasket Technology, Hydro-Turf, My Lucas Oil, Fly Racing, EHTeamRacing, Optima Racing, Canadian-freestyle.com, and also my dad for bringing me to all of these events!
