Jesus Garcia, world renowned jet ski champion tuner, founded his business, Moto Racing Garcia - MRG Racing, a successful motorsports dealership in Spain. Years later, he moved his company to Dubai in January 2015. Garcia has been responsible for the development of a variety of industry leading technologies that are utilized today including the co-development of the V-Tech engine management system for personal watercraft, Maptuner X engine management system for personal watercraft and is an expert at personal watercraft system development, tuning of racing engines and support of professional international PWC racing teams.In the past, Garcia was approached and subcontracted by the Swedish company Vtechtuned, to bring their automotive software technology to the watercraft industry. With the Maptuner X engine management system on the forefront of PWC technology, Garcia was able to co-develop a user-friendly engine tuning and diagnostics system that allows users to “flash” tune files, edit engine maps, check and erase error codes, add program keys and more. A V-tech Maptuner X engine management system can increase the stock horsepower of a Sea Doo Spark from 60, 90 or 120 horsepower, and increase acceleration, RPMs, and increase throttle response within a few short minutes.  Garcia’s skills including system development, tuning of racing engines and support of professional racing teams also led to subcontractor work with MapTun Performance of Sweden to bring their automotive hardware and firmware technology to the watercraft industry. MapTun Performance is a full-service facility and has since evolved from a small company specializing in the development of upgraded software for Saab to a full service tuning facility.  In addition to his list of credentials, Garcia travels to support international PWC racing teams. He has played a pivotal role in the success of many professional watercraft championships by providing all engine management services. Team wins include first place in the Doha Aquabike World Championship (Qatar) with runabout racer Thamer Al Darwish, first place stand up Doha Aquabike World Championship (Qatar) with stand up winner Nacho Armillas, first place SKI GP2 European Championship (Spain) with stand up class winner Nacho Armillas, first place China Aquabike World Championship (China) with Mohammed Al Haidus, second place Aquabike Slalom World Championship (Spain) with Jordi Tomas Jimenez, first place King’s Cup (Malaysia), and an ongoing list of international titles.  For more information on Jesus Garcia and MRG Racing, visit www.mrgperformance.com online or on Facebook.
