CWA CanAm Watercross Tour Round 1 Report and Gallery!

      The CWA kicked off it's 2014 CanAm Tour last weekend with Rounds 1&2 at the Mai Tiki Resort in Oscoda, MI. They started it off with a bang by running three motos for all classes at Round 1 on Saturday.CWA racers and crew know how to do it. Not one red flag and finished by 4:15 with same day registration! That's why a number of racers traveled over 10 hours to attend the event, including FourPlay Racing's Victor and Jennifer Nolan, RAAMS Racing's Robert Basile, Ian Redpath of Edmonton, Alberta, Anne Bigsby of Florida, and Alex Quesnelle and Matt Jakubchak of Penetanguishene, ON.It was exciting to see five SeaDoo Sparks on the line in the new Runabout Rec Lites class, with Eric Gabryel and Paul Green swapping wins each day.In the ProAm Ski Stock class, Dave Davidson and Josh Block continued their epic battles for top spot, with Shane Riley joining the ProAm ranks this year and running closely with them.Jon Ashe and Dylan Osborne traded top spots in ProAm Runabout Stock. In the Novice divisions, Kyle McKrow and Quinn Grant took home #1's in Runabout and Ski, respectively.Three of the junior girls, Hannah Hulett, Shannon O'Connor, and Taryn Stevens, each raced a noteworthy 6 motos and 28 laps on Saturday with their entries in both the Junior Girls and age division ski classes.The Mai Tiki never fails to provide a ton of fun for racers and the whole family all weekend, and the water is so nice and clear you can see the bottom even as you are racing down the back straight!Rounds 3&4 are being held at the Bella Vista Inn on Lake Huron in Caseville, MI, June 28-29.
