      Erie Poker Run and Freestyle show Press Release #1By: Mike Young(Bradenton, FL) The HydroTurf Surf and Tour, presented by Erie Sports Commission and Port Erie Sports, Yamaha, and Sea Doo, will stop in Erie, Pennsylvania, for a Personal Watercraft/Jet Ski Poker Run to benefit a local military based charity around Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie. There will also be 3 Freestyle Shows as a part of the Elite Powerboat Poker Run behind the Sheraton at 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30 pm. Three of the finest Freestylers in the USA putting on a show including 4x US National Champion Jason Stoyer, Amateur World Champion Chris Langlais, both from Florida and winner of the US Super Cup of WaterCross Justin Sylvain, of Lake Orion, Michigan. These will be free shows for the public, and spectators are encouraged to bring their own seating for the shows. There will also be autograph sessions, trivia contests, sponsor giveaways and a whole lot of fun for the family.The PWC Poker Run for charity will open late registration at Lampe Marina from 9am until 10:30am and the PWC Poker Run will begin at 11am. The run will have 5 stops on and around Presque Isle Bay on a 25 mile course and entrants will stop for lunch during the run. Entry fees for the PWC Poker Run are $30 or $40, if they are riding double, 1 hand per watercraft. The club or team that brings the most entrants will receive a $500 cash award and the top 3 hands will also receive cash awards, based on the number of entry’s. Everyone is welcome to participate, so come out and support Erie’s newest event and enjoy some time with fellow riders for a great cause.
