Great Lakes Watercross Racing Series will be in Minocqua WI for Round 3 of racing in 2014. This will be first time an IJSBA sanction PWC race has come to the north woods of Wisconsin. A full day of Closed Course Personal Watercraft racing plus a one of a kind Freestyle competition.
We are very pleased to have this opportunity to showcase these talented watercraft riders at such a beautiful venue.
Great Lakes Watercross will bring the top Closed Course PWC racers in the Midwest to this event. Closed Course racing on water is similar to motocross racing. With 16 racers rocketing off the starting line to the first corner, all hoping to be the hole shot winner to take the early lead in the race. Handle bar to handle bar racing on the water, with speeds up to 75 mph. Watch the Ski GP class with 1300cc motors and the Runabout Open class, featuring 4 stroke 4 cylinder Super Charged motors. This type of racing will thrill the young and old. Race classes for Ski, Sport and Runabout watercraft. This is an open event so the first timer is invited to come and enter the race.
We will bring some of the top Freestyle competitor’s in the country. Imagine 15 foot high Big Air Back flips, Barrel Rolls, Flat Spin combos and tons of other trick combinations all just a few feet in front of you. These 80lb carbon fiber hull machines with 1200cc motors are sure to blow you away.
