Hydrodrags May 3 and 4 Morgan City, Louisiana

      The 2nd Round of the Greenhulk.net US HydroDrag Nationals, santioned by the IJSBA, will be held at Lakes End Park on Lake Palourde on May 3rd and 4th in Morgan City, LA.Hydrodrag-newThe World”s Fastest PWC Race on Water is coming to the Cajun Coast for the 1st time and all of the “HydroManiacs” are looking forward to racing in a new location, at an excellent site, with a lot of spectators.Racers will be vying for double-series points, $5,000 in cash and prizes, and a shot at being the recognized Overall US National Champion in IJSBA sanctioned competition.Racers will compete in several competitions in addition to HydroDrag Racing (head to head-2 at a time), including the pwcperfomance.com Speed Alley (Radar runs), the Blowsion/RRP Flatwater Freestyle Show, Waterfrontoo Slalom Competition, and a Closed Course demo.  There are 5 Classes for competition; Stock, Spec, N/A, Superstock, and Unlimited.The racers aren’t the only folks ready to come to Morgan City, local, Jerry Gaddis, from Greenhulk.net and the patriarch of the Mudbug event had this to say, “Greenhulk.net is thrilled that the HydroDrags and the city of Morgan City have come together to bring this event to our home town.The HydroDrags will take place at the same time as the annual Mudbug Nationals Rally which brings in hundreds of personal watercraft enthusiasts from all over the country every year.We are predicting a huge turnout which will be a great treat for both racers and spectators!”.  Carrie Stansbury and Katie Tamporello of the the Cajun Coast Visitors Bureau, ehoed Gaddis’ statement, saying,”We are very exicited about this event coming to our city!”.
