Lake Dora in Tavares, FL. is a fresh water lake. Depending on the whether, conditions can range from glassy to choppy
The race site has two large boat ramps located in the pit area for us to get in and out of the water throughout the day. During racing, one of the boat ramps is used as the starting line and the other is left open for your access to the lake. In past years, there has been an area to beach your watercraft between motos, but we suggest you have a beach cart and be prepared to pull your ski in and out of the water when you are not racing.Racers and Spectators will have access to the large pier to view the start and racing action up close. All facilities including the hotel, food and nightlife are within walking distance from the pit area. Tavares, and Wooten Park in Lake County Florida are one of our favorite race locations!!!
