Round three of the Hydro Turf UWP-IJSBA National Tour on scenic Lake Michigan in Racine, Wis-consin was another successful one for Team Optima Racing. With the addition of Pro Ski GP and Pro Ski Stock racer, multi time National and World Champion Rob Flores, our win tally continues to rise as the tour progresses.
Pro Ski GP
In the premier Pro Ski GP class, Rob Flores battled the rough waters of Lake Michigan to ride three smart motos with consistent sec-ond place finishes to come from the week-end with a 29 point lead over second place in the overall tour standings in Pro Ski GP.
Pro Ski Stock
Overcoming a jumped start in moto one, Rob Flores used his determined style to work his way up to second place. Moto two and three was a typical Rob Flores domination of the Pro Ski Stock class, pulling off moto wins in both. Rob left Racine Wi with a 41 point lead over second place in the overall tour standings in Pro Ski Stock.
Proving he is continues to be the man to beat in the Sport Classes, Glen Jung handily dominated all three motos of Sport Spec to take the overall on the weekend. Glen Jung leaves the third round of the tour with a 41 point lead over second place in Sport Spec.
Sport Spec Open
Once again, Glen Jung used his aggressive, picture perfect riding style to sweep all three motos in Sport Spec Open to open up his overall points lead to 43 over second place.
With solid points leads after only three rounds, Optima Racing heads to the fourth tour stop in Sparks Nevada on June 29-30th to hopefully continue our winning ways and further extend our points leads to culminate in overall championships at the end of the season.
