Pro Rider Watercraft Magazine is proud to support the 2015 AJSBA Yamaha Australian Jetcross Championship. This year, Pro Rider has partnered with the AJSBA, providing online and print coverage of the 2015 Yamaha Australian Jetcross Championship rounds, as well as the Pro Rider Awards initiatives in which riders and teams are nominated at events for a number of qualities.
Nominations and awards featured include the Pro Rider Pro Team Award, Pro Rider Rising Star Award, Pro Rider Sportsman Award and the Pro Rider Hotshot Award. Nominations for these awards will be made by the AJSBA after each event weekend, so if you see something or someone worth of one of the award nominations please advise event staff. The awards will be decided by an AJSBA committee vote at the end of the tour. The Pro Rider Hot Short Award (for best action shot of the round) will receive nominations chosen by Photo By Skp in conjunction with the AJSBA. These nominations will be available for public voting at the end of the tour.
Round 1 & 2 nominations from Perth, W.A. included the following:
Pro Rider Pro Team Award: Kawasaki Racing Team Australia for the most outstanding team effort; their pit shirts, professionalism and the amount of effort the team put into their race craft was a pleasure to witness
Pro Rider Rising Star Award: Greg Hack for handling an aggressive race boat and getting some great results despite some race craft issues at Round 2.
Pro Rider Sportsmanship Award: Corey Styles for having no hesitation in offering his brand new race boat to a number of riders over the weekend, showing selfless enthusiasm for the sport we all love.
Pro Rider Watercraft Magazine is grateful for it’s partnership with the AJSBA and encourages all businesses and individuals to support their local and national affiliates by any means possible with the goal of the overall growth of the PWC industry.
