PRO WATERCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TO AIR ON CBS SPORTS NETWORK

Pro Watercross is excited to announce that the Pro Watercross World Championship’s Pro finals will air on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, October 18 at 9:00 EST. The thrill of watercross racing comes to a head as the top professional watercross competitors come together from all over the world.
The Pro Watercross World Championship will take place September 19-27, 2015 in Naples, Florida; the week long personal watercraft racing event will start the week with amateur racing and flow into the final Pro weekend as competitors from five different continents battle it out on the race course.
“With the World Championship being televised on a major network for the first time in nearly 20 years it is further proof that our events are charged with exciting racing and is appreciated by race fans worldwide” stated AJ Handler of Pro Watercross. “This will be best racing action from North America and around the world” Handler continued.

IMPORTANT COMPETITOR INFORMATION FOR SPARKS, NV:
SATURDAY PRO SHOW 6:00 – 8:00 pm:
TENTATIVE CLASSES FOR THE PRO SHOW: Pro-Am Ski GP, Pro-Am Ski Stock, Pro-Am Runabout Open, Pro-Am Runabout Stock, Sport GP. Competitors in these classes must check in no later than 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 20. Practice begins immediately following riders meeting in the morning and brief riders meeting and additional practice for the above classes starting at 4:45 PM (roll call will be taken at both riders meetings – riders completing in the above classes not attending or on time for the riders meeting will not be eligible to race.
All competitor’s personal watercrafts will be required to carry the Nevada Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) decal at the cost of $20 per boat. Decals can be purchased on site on Friday: 12:00-4:00PM & Saturday 7:00-10:00AM at the Gazebo.
These decals can be purchased online or you can purchase directly from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) onsite at Sparks Marina Park. The NDOW will be located at the park’s gazebo over the course of the event weekend. If you choose to buy a decal online, you MUST bring the receipt of purchase showing your assigned decal number.

The NDOW will also be on site to perform free-of-charge watercraft aquatic invasive species removal and certify boats. Spark’s Parks Dept will be providing a place for the “cleaning rover” in the Western Village lot that will be visible. The service will be available for watercraft entering and when exiting the marina.
The fine for NOT having an AIS decal is $100 per vessel
