Working a full time construction job along with riding has been tougher than it sounds. I am still fighting for financial security, but making ends meets with the unreal cost of things I have taken on this season. Financially a short break was necessary.I am excited to say that I am still leading the Jettribe - Best Of The West, IJSBA Tour in 900cc Freestyle and today am heading to the final round in Lathrop, California this weekend!I am excited to say that I am still leading the Jettribe - Best Of The West, IJSBA Tour in 900cc Freestyle and today am heading to the final round in Lathrop, California this weekend! I am feeling good and excited to get back on my ski for freestyle and not have to go try and crank out a double backflip haha. Just good hard action packed freestyle, it's going to be great!I was also fortunate enough to go to the Grayland Open Freeride in Washington two weekends ago. There I was hoping to compete but didn't have an available Jetski to borrow that I would have been comfortable on. Instead the event coordinator used my help to announce the event. Using my pro Freeride backgrounds knowledge of tricks, I was able to help keep the event rolling during the difficult to call Pro Freeride finals. This trip opened my eyes up to where I came from. Grayland was the first place I did a backflip at in 2009. Going back to this event with a different perspective was very refreshing for me. I have strived to continue growing and never feel satisfied, even when I goal is reach I am then on to the next goal. This event let me see some new young riders exactly like I was when I started and reminded me what I have accomplished and where I started. It's easy to be blinded by the daily grind.Also coming very soon will be the Blowsion Surf Slam September 12-13th. I will be participating there in Pacific City, OR for the Big Air Contest. Soon after is my last and biggest event of my summer tour.
