Yamaha WaveRunner racers proved their mettle at Round 3 of the UWP-IJSBA national tour in Racine, WI; beating back Mother Nature on Saturday and beating down the competition on Sunday with wins in the Pro Runabout Open, Pro Runabout Limited, and Normally Aspirated Runabout classes.

Dean’s Team FZR rider Abdullah Alfadhel was again the most consistent rider in Pro Runabout Open action, schooling the competition in the cold and rough conditions on Saturday and closing the deal in the warmer and much calmer water conditions on Sunday.

Alfadhel, who is doing double duty in the Pro Runabout Limited class, was equally impressive on his Limited Yamaha FZR; racking up coveted first place points as the tour begins the half way mark.

Yamaha VXR pilot and defending Normally Aspirated Runabout national champion Rob Greenwald showed some of his hardest racing of the year on his way to the overall win. Notably, Greenwald and his Yamaha VXR beat back a number of supercharged models that were competing in the combined class that included two supercharged divisions.

In other racing action, Yamaha FZR rider Dennis Mack made his first podium of the season in the Pro Stock class pro freestyler Jeremy Parr went huge on his SuperJet and annihilated the pro field with a near perfect score.

The next stop for Yamaha racers is Round 4 in Sparks, Nevada on June 29-30.
