Mike Young has been a leader in top quality watercraft promotions for as long as most of us have been involved in the sport. Whether or not Mike is the promoter, we find him at every prestigious event around the world. It is no surprise that his Hydrodrag series has evolved into the most rapidly evolving form of IJSBA Racing. Adding a regulation slalom course further underscores the expansion of this segment of the sport.

IJSBA is proud to sanction these events and to have Mike Young as an advisor to the future of PWC racing. There will be a “Yamaha VIP Pit area”, at each event; Yamaha racers will have convenient pits and easy ramp access.

Yamaha joins an elite list of sponsors in the PWC Racing community including RIVA Racing, Greenhulk.net, Blowsion, HydroTurf, Rick Roy Products, BRP/Sea Doo, Exotic Signs, Vortech, Mountain Motorsports, Extreme Propulsion, Lacey Powersports, City of Tavares, Morgan City CVB, and the OFFICIAL Apparel will be Jet Pilot.

Each HydroDrag event will feature HydroDrag Racing, IJSBA Regulation Slalom, Flatwater Freestyle and Speed Alley.

The first race is scheduled for June 1st and 2nd in Tavares, Florida, (just north of Orlando), at Wooton Park. Spectator admission is free. Entry forms and the 2013 IJSBA HydroDrag rulebook for the event can be found online at Greenhulk.net and rivaracing.com or by contacting Mike Young at mpyoungjr@aol.com.
