The 2020 January/February Pro Rider Money Shot goes to Oraphan Teerapatpanich of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, the 2019 Jet Ski World Cup Pro Runabout Open Champion! The Money Shot image was captured from the lens of Woramun Boonrawd of Bomb Photography at the 2019 Jet Ski World Cup in Pattaya, Thailand. Oraphan battled fiercely in 2019 in the mostly male dominated sport securing numerous World Championship titles including Pro-Am Runabout GP and Women’s Runabout 1100 Stock Jet ski Tour Thailand; Champion of China “The Belt and Road” Shaanxi Hanzhong International Motorboat Open; Champion of Thai Airways IJSBA World Finals USA Women’s Runabout and Women’s Runabout 1100 Stock. In 2018 Oraphan was named Thailand Sports Association Best Female Athlete of the Year. Pro Rider Magazine recently caught up with Oraphan to find out more about her. “I have been competing for 19 years and I am 30 years old. My hometown is Nakhon Pathom in Thailand. I competed for my father’s team, Pusan Sea-Doo Jet Ski Racing Team. My father, Sea-Doo Siam Watercraft Company, Jetpilot Thailand, JUST1 Thailand and Akana Carbon are my sponsors. I love speed and I think I am one of the only women competing with men. But this does not cause fear because if the physical and mental condition is ready, and with a determination to not give up on anything, every woman can do everything according to the goals she sets,” shared a jubilant Oraphan.
