IJSBA Appoints Mike Rodgers As Technical Director

      IJSBA is pleased to announce that Mike Rodgers has been appointed to the position of Technical Director for the International Jet Sports Boating Association. Mr. Rodgers will have the primary duty of answering technical questions and providing preliminary technical rulings. Additionally, Mike will oversee the technical inspection process for the 2013 Hot Products World Finals and other important events.Mike Rodgers is a life long watercraft enthusiast who brings over 28 years of powersports experience to this position. He spent years on the IJSBA national circuit before accepting a position with the BRP/ Sea-Doo engineering department. Over his 14 years with BRP his responsibilities included powertrain development and engine calibration for Sea-Doo watercraft and Can-am ATV. Currently Mike is an instructor at the worlds leading powersports technical facility, The Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, where he oversees technical aspects of all brands of watercraft.Recently, Mr. Rodgers has been featured on the advertising for MMI's Yamaha focus.
