Today We Learned That We Have Lost a Good FriendBy: Pro WatercrossWe were deeply saddened today to hear that David Knisley passed away this past week. David was part of the Pro Watercross family from 2007 to 2013 as one of our race day announcers, TV personality as well as one of the producers on our TV shows.We first met David when he was brought in to be an announcer at a first time event in Salisbury, MA; we knew little about David except that he was a fireman in Grand Rapids, Michigan and in his free time announced for Arenacross. David turned out to be a good friend and great advocate for the sport of watercross.From the first time David picked up the microphone we knew that he was going to be part of our tour; he was a natural commentator at the races as he guided the spectators and TV viewers around the race course making each moto exciting and a thrill to watch. David had a way of making everyone he met feel welcome and important; whether it was a world champion competitor or someone that he was just having a conversation with...His kindness and great talent will always be remembered in our hearts and our deepest sympathy goes out to all of his loved ones - David will be truly missed.Like, Tag & Share!
